Mass Effect Gets Release Date

Much to the chagrin of dedicated fan boys, Bioware's Mass Effect will not be available until 9/15/07. This doesn't come as a huge shock because release dates are so unreliable now a days. What is a surprise is that some months before today's E3, Bioware commented that Mass Effect would not be shown at E3 leading many to believe a late June or early July release date was set, but that is obviously not the case. There is some light at the end of the tunnel however as this gives the guys at Bioware ample time to fine tune and tweak the game just right. if Mass Effect is any bit as addicting as Knights of the Old Republic or Jade Empire then all the time was worth it.
